E- safety digital citizenship posters – 100 points

I like how this poster is written in first person, making it easy for children to read and relate to.

The key words and highlighted in bold font and colour, making them stand out.

It tells the children how to be safe in each specific area.

It uses language which children can understand.

I like the bright colours and the use of the word ‘smart’ down the side; it is eye catching.

It targets 5 key areas of internet safety for children and reminds them how to ensure they are safe while online.

The information is spaced out well, meaning it is easy to read.

It also contains a website where children can get more information and advice. They can also plan games and test their knowledge of internet safety.

This poster only contains a small amount of information which would be good for younger children because too much information can overwhelm them.

I don’t think it contains a great level of information because it doesn’t tell children how to stay safe or how to stand up to bullying.

I like the idea of using the girl who looks like she is a scout or brownie etc. because they are seen as respectable children who are good citizens.

It would be a good poster to use as a starting point or as a reminder for children.

e safety points

I like this top tips poster because it focuses on four ways to help children be safe online.

The images and language are simple and friendly for the children to clearly see/read and identify.

The use of colour makes it eye catching and interesting for children to look at.

After looking at the E safety digital citizenship posters online and looking at what they all had in common, I made my own poster.
